Lanarkshire’s Centre for Early Childhood Support

The people behind Juniors

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER, LESLEY ROBERTSON

Lesley Robertson is the Founder and CEO of Juniors, a charity she created after experiencing first-hand the isolation, financial hardship and lack of support that many families face. As a lone parent, she understood how life-changing it can be to have someone believe in you, and she built Juniors to ensure no family has to struggle alone.

Today, Juniors is much more than a children’s charity. It is a welcoming community where families can access practical support, build confidence, form lasting friendships and create positive childhood memories. Every service is designed around dignity, choice and opportunity.

Lesley’s vision is to transform the way society supports families living in poverty by replacing stigma with hope, empowering parents to reach their potential, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to enjoy a happy, safe and fulfilling childhood.

Juniors is delivered by a small, committed team of early years practitioners, family support workers and volunteers, backed by a board of trustees.

Volunteers – Much of what we do is only possible because of our volunteers — including parents who first came to Juniors for support and now help others. If you would like to volunteer with us – please send us an email – contactus@juniorscharity.org.uk
